1950s Vintage Miriam Ryan Dress

This ivory silk day dress is flawless. It’s only $189, too, dirt cheap for unworn ’50s silk, especially such wonderfully tailored items in flattering colours.

I wouldn’t talk about it normally, I’d simply buy it and enjoy life a bit more once I own it, but for once, I’ll have to pass.  Run along and snap it up before someone else does!

Market Publique

Another grassroots shopping site, you’ll grumble. No more misshaped sleeves, no more unflattering lengths, no more cheap synthetic fabrics, no more! I know. That’s why I’m excited to bring to your attention Market Publique.

The selection is still fairly small, but a casual browse revealed enough gems to make this a go-to site. Lovely!
